Bring along your watches and meet other like-minded collectors.
We look forward to welcoming you to this very exclusive event the night before SalonQP.
This exclusive event is hosted by Andreas Strehler and David Brailsford.

The Night Before – A brief history

In 2012, Andreas Strehler exhibited for the first time at SalonQP in London. On the night before the opening of SalonQP, he invited a few friends and watch enthusiasts to share a drink, talk about watches and the world in general. The idea of The Night Before was born.

On that memorable night, only a handful of what would become a band of friends showed up at the Lansdowne Club in Mayfair.
When word got round about the lively discussions (and drinking), even people who had not been invited to The Night Before apologised for not having been able to make it. Not surprisingly, the next year, it was already a small crowd who gathered in Mayfair for The Night Before.
Over the years, The Night Before became an institution: A gathering of interesting people interested in the world of watches and as the guest list began to grow the Lansdowne Club became too small to host the event.
With other watchmakers joining The Night Before, the event has moved away from Berkeley Square 200 yards up Davies Street to The Whip club, still in Mayfair. The Whip is an exclusive equestrian themed private club and cocktail bar, located above a recently renovated pub, The Running Horse, Mayfair’s oldest.
Although the location has changed, The Night Before has remained faithful to its spirit: A gathering of friends.
Admission is strictly by invitation only.
