A BRIEF HISTORY
Garrick was founded by David Brailsford, an English entrepreneur with a passion for horology. The company celebrates Great Britain’s illustrious history of watchmaking but distills this prowess into timepieces suited to a modern-day audience.
Eager to capture the aesthetic essence of maritime instruments, Garrick watches have a unique and distinct style of their own. The inaugural model was the Shaftesbury and thereafter Garrick has gone on to develop a range of eye-catching timepieces.
The talented craftsmen at the Garrick atelier produce all parts in-house, enhancing the specification and imbuing the timepieces with a decidedly British character. Hands, dials, and cases are crafted and finished in Garrick’s own workshops by time served watchmakers.
In 2016, the company unveiled the Portsmouth model, a watch featuring the brand’s first exclusive movement, developed in collaboration with Swiss movement specialist Andreas Strehler. The company has also gained a reputation for satisfying the individual desires of clients, offering a fully bespoke service.
Garrick continues to ascend to ever greater heights with its own distinct recipe of British design and assembly, coupled with expertise from leading experts in the field of horology.
