Cyrus, the Swiss watch company based in Le Locle, has its own Manufacture, managed by Jean-François Mojon. Monsieur Mojon is regarded as one of the finest watchmakers in Switzerland. In 2011, his immense ability was recognised by the prestigious Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie in Geneva, leading to the award of the “best independent developer/watchmaker” prize.
As a Manufacture, Cyrus has the capacity to make all movement components in-house. This ability confers independence and allows the company to embrace contemporary design whilst upholding fine watchmaking craftsmanship.
A key strength of the Cyrus collection is the number of different complications it offers. From chronographs and alarm watches to avant-garde depictions of lunar phases, the technical prowess of Cyrus is clear to see. However, while embracing neoteric aesthetics, Cyrus upholds the exalted standards of haute horlogerie.
While Cyrus respects watchmaking traditions, it is dynamic, creating timepieces brimming with modernity. Each of its watches is equipped with two functional crowns, immediately differentiating the company’s timepieces from many mainstream watches. Indeed, there is nothing mainstream or conformist about Cyrus watches, they are quite unique.
